Replacing Microsoft 365 Defender

Our objective is to enhance the effectiveness of our security awareness training by replacing the current attack simulation capabilities in Microsoft Defender with a more advanced and user-focused solution. While Defender provides basic phishing simulations, we aim to adopt a platform that delivers more diverse, realistic, and adaptive simulations tailored to user behavior and risk profiles. We are looking for a tool that can simulate a broad range of social engineering attacks such as phishing, smishing, and business email compromise with varying difficulty levels and dynamic content. The new solution should support ongoing training campaigns, provide real time user feedback, and offer automated learning modules based on user interactions and susceptibility trends. Key selection criteria include integration with our existing email and identity platforms, granular reporting to identify high risk user groups, and the ability to track progress over time. We also want a solution that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements for end-user training. This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering a security first culture, where users are continuously educated and empowered to recognize and respond to threats. The upgraded platform will help reduce human related security incidents and support our broader goal of building organizational resilience against cyber threats.

We have Sophos & Defender for Phishing, nothing for ransomware, but it only addresses email phishing - not SMS, phone or any other form of phishing, especially AI we may be vulnerable to. We're open to a new tool for all phishing, ransomware or adding a tool that specializes in other forms of phishing / ransomeware protection
