Matthew Sweeney

Matthew Sweeney is the CTO and Co-Founder of Gomboc AI, where he leads the development of cloud infrastructure security solutions. Over the past 20 years, Matt has built multiple cybersecurity products across startups and large enterprises, including leading the Mandiant Security Validation engineering team at Google Cloud Security, developing Fortinet's FortiSASE offering, and creating the GreySpark risk analytics product. His experience spans applied R&D solving DARPA grand challenge problems to product leadership at Fortinet, OPAQ Networks, FourV Systems, and SRC. Matt has authored four patents covering continuous cybersecurity risk analysis and the application of AI and ontological reasoning to security risk assessment.
